There is a great company called Priceonomics that can help you calculate find/calculate/explore used merchandise on craigslist and other sites.
It takes the concept of Kelley’s blue book and blows it out to all other items. It was started by Omar Bohsali, Rohin Dhar, and Michael Flaxman.
The promise of used item is straight forward – let someone take the hit on depreciation of items so that you can get an item for a good price. This works well on iphones, bicycles but appears not to work so well on TVs.
